Children from Loose Primary school's Eco Council completed a successful litter pick of the King George V playing field on Friday 25th March. The Eco Council has a representative from each class and makes sure that the school and the surrounding community is as environmentally friendly as possible  They collected 4 bags of litter, making the field and the play areas a more pleasant experience for families and safer for wild life. Their event coincided with the first day of the Great British Spring clean.

BEWARE SCAM PHONE CALLS

Local police have reported scam phone calls, from people posing as police officers calling from the Metropolitan police. They were trying to obtain card details. The residents concerned were elderly, but fortunately did not divulge any information. 

 

Residents are reminded to make sure they do not become victims of fraud. You should NOT under any circumstances disclose bank or card details, or other personal information, over the phone.  Any suspicious calls should be reported to the police on 101.
