King George V (KGV) Playing Field

The playing field is located off the main A229 Loose Road; down Walnut Tree Lane (Albany Funerals is on the corner). It is a recreational area for the people of Loose and includes play areas, plus a large green open space. There is a small car park which can be used by visitors hiring the pavilion.

The KGV playing field and adjacent Loose Parish Pavilion are owned, managed and maintained by Loose Parish Council.

During the football season, the playing field is usually 'home' to various football teams and during the summer months there are a number of pre-booked activities.

The Loose Fete is an annual event, recently moved to a Saturday in mid-June. This community event is organised by a few parish council members, plus representatives from local groups and residents from the local area.

If you would like to volunteer to be involved in the 2024 fete and perhaps bringing some fresh ideas to its organisation, then please contact the Clerks’ office.

If you are interested in booking the KGV playing field, pavilion or any open space owned by the Loose Parish Council, please contact the Clerk's Office to check availability, prior to completing any documentation.
